Insurance & Payment
We accept most major health insurance plans, however it is your responsibility to contact your insurance carrier to verify coverage and benefits. Patients may be held financially responsible for payment of services should the insurance company deny responsibility. Be sure to bring your insurance card with you every time you visit Georgia Colon & Rectal Surgical Associates. Notify the front desk whenever your insurance coverage changes so that the medical staff can accurately maintain your important medical records.
Payment is due at the time of service. This includes copays, deductibles, co-insurance, outstanding balances, and services not covered by your insurance.
Georgia Colon & Rectal Surgical Associates accepts cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
Please check to see if your insurance plan requires a referral for your visit to our office. It is the patient's responsibility to obtain a referral before each visit if needed. Otherwise, if you do not have your referral, you will be responsible for the portion of the bill that your insurance does not cover.
If you require surgery, our office personnel will make all arrangements including obtaining precertification from your insurance company.
